Q: Where are classes held?

Class are held at the Anglican Church Hall, 15 Thallon Street, Crows Nest Qld.

 

Q: What dance styles are offered?

We offer Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap. A full timetable is available on the website and in the Enrolment Package.

 

Q: What age do you take students from?

Classes are available from 3 years old.

 

Q: How does placement of students into classes work?

Students will be placed into classes according to their year of birth.

 

Q: Can parents watch classes?

Parents/carers are not permitted to stay with students during classes.

 

Q: Will a Parent-Viewing Day be held?

Two parent-viewing days will be held during the year for parents/carers (only) to observe student progress and achievements.

 

Q: How do I enroll and what are the fees?

An Enrolment Package is available by contacting the Principal by phone or sending your enquiry via email to udance@hotmail.com.

 

Q: Do you offer family discount?

A family discount is offered to families with two or more children attending the studio.

 

Q: Is there a Registration Fee?

An annual registration fee of $15.00 per student applies when enrolling.

 

Q: When are fees due and payable?

Fees are due at the beginning of each term and are payable within a 21 day period from the issue date of the account. Late fees will incur a $10.00 per term/per student surcharge.

 

Q: What if my fees are outstanding?

The studio has the discretion not to offer tuition to any student whose fees are more than one term in arrears. If you are experiencing difficulty in meeting the time frame for fees, please contact the Principal – do not just remove your child from classes.

 

Q: What do they wear?

A full uniform list is available on the website and in the Enrolment Package. Studio dress requirements are compulsory.

 

Q: Where do I get the uniform?

Uniforms are available from Dancewear by Lana, 90 Mort Street, Toowoomba.

 

Q: Do you have an end of year performance?

A performance will be held at the end of every year.

 

Q. Does my child have to participate in this performance?

All students are expected to perform at the end of year concert.

 

Q: Do you sell second hand clothing?

A “For Sale” book will be available for mums wanting to sell second hand dance gear.

 

Q: How can I contact my child’s class teacher?

All contact is to be made via the Principal outside of class time.
